All-Saints leather jacket, H&M men's jumper, Monki knit midi/maxi-dress, snood from Hong Kong, Miu Miu bag, New Look ankle boots, Urban Outfitters body-chain/necklace
Lent term was packed to the brim with essays, conferences, a trip to Le Havre, birthday celebrations, a few nights out and lots of eating out at our favourite Korean restaurants, topped off with a sudden unhealthy obsession with Korean dramas and microwaved meals (from scratch - ever had microwaved cod? Or dukbokki?)
The Easter holidays have just started and spring-cleaning has commenced in light of the need for a healthy, clean, uncluttered (fairly) space for preparing for the May exams - meanwhile, this online space is getting a boost... here's an update on the look I've been sporting aplenty - knits, leather and disheveled rock goodness. Off in South Ken for a Black Swan screening, the look meant black eye makeup, and darkness shoveled into a warm bundle of winter-shielding fabrics. I'm still devastated that Monki isn't available in London although it's a Swedish brand (I bought this dress at the Monki store in Langham Place, Hong Kong) - the prices are unbelievable, the quality fairly fine and the simplicity of the designs bring into mind Jil Sander, Comme des Garçons, some hints of the plainer structured pieces of Givenchy and of course, the Alexander Wang sportswear aesthetic. I've also had a bit of an obsession with body-chains, like this massive charcoal chain mass - it's easy to toss one on, atop a t-shirt and suddenly have a heavy statement out.
Spidery, creeping sweeps of a chain curtain.
