Topshop jumper, Whistles tank dress, Mulberry Alexa bag, Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots, ASOS fedora hat
London has been awash with sunlight, and even the daunting thought of exams couldn't keep us away from an afternoon around Regent Street. If you live in London and have never been to Carnaby Street, get yourself there on a bright London afternoon immediately... little stores, little cafes, little secrets. Also, pop over to Soho's Yauatcha for some tea, or pick up some handcrafted chocolates (the mango balsamic's adorable) and macarons (the Jasmine is divine).
I've always prided myself on comfort dressing - my recent uniform has been maxi or midi dresses topped with jumpers of all lengths. Cropped, hip-length, all the way down to my knees. The jumper here has been hoisted to hip-length by tucking the excess into a hidden belt, enough to show off the handkerchief hem of the Whistles dress. While you can't see the back of the look here, the backless jumper shows off the twisted back of the Whistles dress. Just a little surprise I like to add to an otherwise simple look. The fedora and the lace-up boots lengthen the chunkiness of the clothes, and my overstuffed Alexa's a welcome pop of colour.
Yes, I finally picked up a pair of Litas, which despite being alarmingly high in the heel, are supremely comfortable. The shock element has been fun to play with, especially when I wear them to the school library for an all-nighter...
