H&M angora sweater, Urban Research knit shorts, ASOS faux-fur coat, House of Harlow 1960 thigh-high leather boots, Givenchy Nightingale bag
Paris generally conjures up images of tea-length skirts, skinny sharp tailored trousers and chic collared shirts, but faced with a bitter wind, my inner Parisienne surrendered to wool, wool and faux fur, for good measure.
Winter makes me pick one bright colour so last winter was orange in the form of this sweater (which sheds like mad on anything cotton, by the way). Monochrome popped up in the form of this pair of shorts, which I vaguely remember buying in Hong Kong but upon checking the tag, I think it might be from Urban Research.
I probably stress this pair of boots and my Nightingale out too much but the former provides easy insulation, and the latter has an astonishingly large Mary Poppins-like space for me to hold all my travel essentials in (my friends are horrified when we're just about to leave the hotel and BAM, three lenses go into the poor Nightingale).
Oh, and lastly - lavender fur seems a little gauche but I can't help but think of My Little Pony and this way, I don't have to dye the ends of my hair lavender to achieve the effect...
At least I added some colour to the bare Tuileries!
